My blood sugar is getting worse.
My vison is failing and along with the central serous retinopathy, I think I will soon be out of work when my vision is too poor to work....
The central serous retinopathy has been knocked back with the natural treatment using 1100 PPM silver liquid in my eyes but I still fear blindness.
My blood pressure is really doing it's own thing.
Depression and anxiety from too much work, hurricanes and many other evils in this world.

I didn't kick anyone out of anything. I was told I wasn't welcome around him and his family anymore. I was referring to what he did, he ended the friendship. I was saying I would not do what he did. I too suffer from retinopathy though not nearly as serious as you. My eye Doc says she doesn't truly understand. Some come into the office with blood sugar out-of-control and showing 0 signs, whereas mine is well under control and yet I exhibit the retinopathy. |

Some come into the office with blood sugar out-of-control and showing 0 signs, whereas mine is well under control and yet I exhibit the retinopathy. and simrion I will pray for both of you on all the things you've mentioned and I also encourage you to do all the research you can for both treatment and doctors with a good track record. eldrad if you are following the doctor's advice and your blood sugar stays high you might need a different doctor and/or a major change in your diet. My wife was diabetic and she had retinopathy and ended up having surgery on both eyes to fix it. Part of the problem is that even with your blood sugar "under control" usually with the way it is treated your insulin levels are high (my wife was taking insulin by injection) and the high insulin, as I understand it, is what causes the damage. It takes extreme diet measures to get your insulin down and reverse insulin resistance. It is very tough thing and doctors are really divided on what to do. Some say that diet can reverse Type II. I am not diabetic yet, but just short of the borderline pre-diabetes area, that's after giving up sugar and losing about 45 lbs over the last 3+ years and I will be 67 in a few weeks. If I had made changes 20 years ago, I might not even be close to pre-diabetes. Unfortunately the doctors don't know as much as we wish they did. |

Sounds like the biggest factor might be the stress, sometimes that is what throws everything out of wack. That's something that people often overlook, but stress is not conductive to good health at all. |

I've been inactive for the last several days. I'll be returning to active forum duty in the days ahead. I came down with a serious case of food poisoning this weekend. I didn't go to work - took vacation - until today because I was so dehydrated from evacuating everything from my stomach late Sunday night/early Monday morning. Yeah, I know that raikenclw , has some health problems, I hope he is OK. has not been on since July 27th and erisred has not been on since June 26th. raikenclw I know has health issues and I know that erisred is 71, so everyone please pray for both of them and for their health and well-being. I hope both of them log in soon to let us know that they are OK. Hey All, I'm sorry to have been absent for so long! I'm going to try and do better, starting now.  For Your Information: On September 20 of 2022 - at least I *think* that was the date (I might be off by a day or so) - the fellow employee who came in at 7:00am to relieve me from my audit shift found me lying on the floor in front of the timeclock. I was mostly unresponsive and mumbling nonsense. An ambulance took me to our local hospital, where it was determined that I was suffering from spinal meningitis. I was in and out (mostly out) of consciousness for the next ten days. After getting released, I found that I was very easily fatigued. I still have little endurance, although I'm beginning to fix that with the aid of a recently purchased stationary exercise bike. Thanks to a recent email from The Perilous Dreamer , I was reminded of the wonderful community here and realized that I needed to rejoin. NOTE: I'm thinking about starting a play-by-post and will be making a post about this to the appropriate board. |
