This is a preliminary heads-up for those many hundreds of purchasers who will be buying this book. The initial print run of the book was received by our USA distributor as of 5 days ago and we are in the process of detailing last minute shipping options and coordinating with him for a problem-less release.
The book was read by our distributor, Paul Stormberg, who many here may be aware is also a historian of D&D and TSR. His verdict, right out of the gate, is that this is a great book! He was so engrossed with finishing it that when his wife asked him if he was coming to bed he replied that he had to finish the read, instead. I had not relinquished review copies to anyone, so this is a REALLY good omen.
Three Line Studio's "Go-Live" date for the first book EVER to be written on David L. Arneson is within the next week. Just ironing out last minute details here.

Which reminds me, back before I and my wife got sick, and before my wife got really sick I promised robkuntz a review of " El Raja Key Archive" which I have resumed working on ( I feel badly that I have not gotten it done in a more timely manner). In addition, I am upgrading from the Standard Edition to the Deluxe Edition, but I need to email the "enquiries@threelinestudio.com" about that and about review materials for the new book.

Actually, that should have been a BLIND link which we were going to activate nearer to the end of the week. It has since been disconnected until then. We received your order as well as one from Derek Jones. These will be forwarded to Paul for him to fulfill as the first orders in a few days. So, you two chaps will get yours first.
I am in the process of preparing a concise but comprehensive press release regarding it to be posted here and at ProBoard74 by yours truly, David (BTW Happy Birthday). I am sure Allan Grohe and Paul Stormberg will make the rounds for it as well. If you would post it there (OD&D 74) it would be appreciated. Now back to the Secrets of Blackmoor folks who want some review stuff from me and no doubt Havard should be informed as well. Details, details, they never end.
Upgrading the DVD is accomplished by contacting Paul directly and he will invoice you for the difference/shipping: adventures@TLBgames.com

Why is it, when I get a little $$ in my paypal account, suddenly things start appearing I need to get? (This, and the Journeyman BlueHolme!) Oh, and if I haven't wished it already, H-B, David.

It used to be like that with me when I collected comic books. Some things are just worth investing in, such as the first book to be written on Arneson, shy just 45 years being overdue...

Things are surely escalating quickly with the imminent release of the book being either Wednesday or Thursday. I will post either/or here very soon. There will be two pre-release reviews available, one by Paul Stormberg who has now read the book twice through! And another by Griff who is the Director for the Secrets of Blackmoor documentary.
The book is also being translated into French over the next 8 weeks by Antoine Poncin; and after reviewing materials from us Mondiversi is championing an Italian translation possibly to be released at LUCCA 2017 along with my Sunken City adventure.
We are also on tap to have some presence at the upcoming GENCON. More news on that later.
The weight of the book and shipping costs were finalized late yesterday. The 7 hour difference between France and the USA had me receiving the final costs at 1:30 am in the morning. The two folks who ordered priority mail yesterday, well, we owe you .50 cents each, as the mailing costs that were up there were based upon our best information of the book's weight whereas the final costs were subsequently reduced.
Talk with you all later and thanks to those here who have supported our efforts to bring to light Dave's true genius.

Man, kind of a bummer. Hillbillies around here have closed all the bookstores. Well, and the fact that I've got 13 bookcases over-stacked with books. Oh well, what is one more?

Buy one more, well two more, he does have another book in the pipeline. Where do you live that all the bookstores are closed? I can remember when their were lots of bookstores all over the place, I miss those days! The internet (like Amazon, etc) pretty much spelled the end of brick and mortar stores of this type. I would support such a store where ever I lived but they are pretty much dinosaurs now given the ability to immediately transact and have the product delivered to your doorstep without even leaving the confines of your abode. The model is being progressed on all consumer levels and is driving small businesses to close their doors. The ability to leverage mass reductions in costs (i.e., Wal-Mart and Amazon tactics) only seals the deal with those who have less money to spend and wish a higher return on their expended dollars.

FYI, Rob sent me the press release this morning. On Blogger the image of the cover of the book is too wide if you keep it at the full size readable version so I split it into two files, the Front and the Back to post it on the blog, I have it formatted and ready to go. I will be posting it to my blog as late tonight as I can, since the order link will be live. Once I post it, if you have a blog, blogger makes it really easy to copy and paste to your own blog, so please do that if you want to. I will also post it here, likely in the morning, but maybe tonight, it depends on how late I can stay up.

Why is it that the question still persists of what a Role Playing Game is 46 years after David Arneson first contrived it into being and then a little later with his new partner, Gary Gygax, made the concept available commercially?
Award winning game designer and author Robert J. Kuntz presents the answers in the book, Dave Arnesonʼs True Genius, and they will surprise the entrenched, provisional views of those who have been in a perpetual argument until this point.
In this book Mr. Kuntz describes and explains through design theory and systems theory terms and examples what Arnesonʼs genius accomplished which is no less than the shattering of 2,000 years of game design history and theory.
Available April 13 from Three Line Studio: Dave Arnesonʼs True Genius
There should be an image of the book cover showing but for some reason using insert image in the menu is not working for me. Please see my blog post for the image split into the Front and Back of the book for blog formatting.
