(Eight Days a Week)(Google it if you don't get the reference for working hard eight days a week)
Blackmoor Week is September 24th through October 1st (yeah we know that is eight days) and October 1st is Dave Arneson Game Day. Several people who have blogs are posting in celebration of the Week and The Day!
Those who want to celebrate and/or are doing something please post here. If you are having a game this coming week to celebrate, even if it is not on Monday the 1st, please post here.

Blogging is much harder than just hanging out here with my friends. I can see that I am funnelling some traffic this way, but not as much as I'd like. So far I only had one negative feedback from a guy who told me to look up Dave Wesly and Braunsteins. I can't really argue that Braunstein wasn't a role-playing game, and Wesly is also written out of chain as well.

In one of the blog posts above the argument was made that if the Braunstein was a role-playing game it was only because Arneson was present and took the whole thing off the rails and ran with it. I would have to support that point of view.

I don't even know how to respond to this without losing my temper, which I refuse to do, but I will admit that my jaw hit the floor. I wonder how common this line of thinking is?

Just read Harry's post, though I'm having trouble posting a response. Gutsy, and flies in the face of current 0D&DISTS who deny Arneson to the point of demeaning Robilar Kuntz.
