Continuing to be inspired by the Ultima series of computer role-playing games, I started on some Rune stones but only got about halfway before running out of clay. I can use these as a prop for anytime the characters visit a fortune teller. Their fortunate is going to be predetermined so I can just roll these out for nothing more than a visual aid. It's cool to have something you can put your hands on and actually see laid out on the table. I need to get some more clay to finish them up.

I finished the moongate because I stopped at Hobby Lobby to see if they had any scenery options. I was pleasantly surprised that there were several. I don't know why I didn't think of that before - they DO sell trains and scenery - but I'm glad I looked. I'm not winning any awards with this, but it will be able to be used for effect in game. That's the whole point of my miniatures anyway so I'm good with it. I would do some things differently if I did another one, but it was a good learning experience. View AttachmentThis moon gate is awesome! I had missed this.

I dig how you make this stuff for flavor instead of just hurling pre-bought minis onto the table. It really looks cool.
