It looks like we need 4 weeks of rations. Can we buy normal rations, or do some need to be iron rations? |

Perilous - any chance you can list what we've got in the party? It's a bit cumbersome to have to double-click each player's character creation thread and make a list
Something like this would be good
Sliggoth, fighter
Sora, fighter
etc

With the slower pace of play by post it's harder to keep all that in mind as with a face to face group (even for Roll20/Hangouts I appreciate the summary). |

No Sora that is not the primary reason that you would not be a good choice to speak to the dragon, dragons are arrogant, but they find that distasteful and offensive in lesser beings and to an ancient dragon all beings are lesser beings. Everyone should probably read my comments in this thread - How did or do you handle meta-knowledge? |

Sora *can* tell the difference between a trio of ruffians whom he and Josiah can like as not beat in fair combat and an intelligent LIVING GROUND ATTACK FIGHTER (complete with flamethrower) that is as likely to kill them as look at them. Were it an EVIL dragon, Sora would still try his best to at least inconvenience it's plans, of course. |

I am hopeful that within the next couple of weeks we can restart the game. I would like very much to get to some action and I apologize for how slow the game has been progressing and I think it is due to my inexperience in running a pbp, but I hope to do better as things progress. Face to face, it is IMO fairly easy to provide the roleplaying that some really enjoy, but also a good amount of action for those the are primarily enjoy that, but it is proving more difficult to do that in a pbp. I will try to do a better job of accommodating both views as we go forward and perhaps if need be we can split into two parties.

I need all players to let me know if you are up for another go round and if not can your character be converted to an NPC or can someone take it over if they are interested. Whew! I wonder if I'm the only one left? I shall be gone to temple all day Saturday, Sunday is my busiest day, so I won't be back except for microseconds on my phone when being ferried from one place to another.
Can we start Monday? Is there anyone left?

I guess it depends on if ffilz & Richard/ raikenclw want to play. I know Frank has popped in today, but Raikenclw hasn't been in since makofan ended his PbP's here. Maybe Makofan might want to play instead of run a game here. If not, maybe Mighty Darci would be willing to since our other PbP's are dead here (sans the Traveller one I think she is a member in). |

Well there is an opening for you, so give me a day or so and I will get a Character Creation thread started for you. You can also look at the 3d6 daily thread and pick your stats from there is something grabs you and post in this thread and I'll use that in the CC thread. Once I hear from the other parties or if needed proceed without hearing from one of them, I will open it up for other new recruits. But I want to give existing players the right of first refusal if I can. |

But I have to get off line now. Thanks, I am not sure I deserve the tip of the hat as I didn't see the larger multi-stat block post, but I'll take it. The stat block was the first one I saw when I clicked on the thread (I think I used the notifications link in my profile) after reading your post above. The way I see it, it was as if I had rolled 3d6 straight down the line and the above stat block was what I got. If I picked my stat block after seeing your multi-stat block it'd have felt like cheating as I'd have been tempted to pick something better, but as I said I went with the first stat block I saw & I am glad that I did. I am looking to see how far this character goes & the fun I can have with him/her (?). |
