This is the place to ask questions about anything for now and always a good place in the future. This for the most part will be the central spot for me to check if you have any questions.
Exceptions: once the game starts, specific game questions and OOC comments and questions will go in the active game thread, depending on the questions, I may copy it to this thread for convenience to our readers.

I will ask and answer the first question for you.
How much of what you post in the info threads do I need to read to play this game?
As much or as little as you want to is the short answer. The longer answer is that you should read enough to complete your PC (and any hirelings/henchman/retainers/followers that you might have) sheet with possessions. Anything not on the official sheet does not exist, beyond that it is up to you. The other players may not take kindly to your PC constantly bumming or trying to bum things off their PCs, but I will not interfere if you want to play that way. This is also a good place to remind you that I will not be asking you why you are not using a resource that you forgot about, fellow players of course can remind you if they remember and so choose.

FYI Superman is a Paladin, emphasis on Good, Batman is a Paladin with the emphasis on Justice, Solomon Kane as I read in a thread by one of our members IIRC is a Paladin with the emphasis on Retribution. |

Solomon Kane is close, but Hellboy is closer.
I've recently started playing with a local FTF group that uses 5e. My current PC is tiefling paladin who has sawn off his horns (a la Hellboy) - so he can wear a full helm (and also because he doesn't want to give opponents two convenient handles on his head) - and whose tail is armored in chainmail, with a tip like a spiked mace. Sora Damocleese follows Athena and rides a summoned steed (although he isn't thrilled that his "corrupt" blood caused it to manifest as a fiend). NOTE: His last name isn't misspelled; it's a Python joke. 😎

My apologies to hengest , magremore , mormonyoyoman , ffilz , Warrior Twin One , Warrior Twin Two & makofan I thought this thread was active when I set it up and I wondered why no one was posting. But it is active now so please ask any questions. I hope to have the character creation threads unlocked after I post a bit more information but by the end of the day Friday and I will check in throughout the weekend and will do my best to have everything active by the first. My apologies if I don't make it by then. |

Sounds good. Make sure to tag us when our PCs are ready so we see some notifications (I mostly just look at my "Participated" menu here, and secondarily the notifications - I need to pay more attention to them...).

Hi Perilous. If you ever want to bank things off another GM, feel free to drop me a line. I am not running games these days, but have 10 years of pBp experience to draw on Hi makofan , great to hear from you. Thank you I will do that. As I start posting things in the lead up, please feel free to comment. I should toss in too that as a long time player in makofan's game, I have a lot of perspective from a PbP player... I am entering each players stat numbers to choose from and I am about halfway done with that. I won't be able to finish that until about 3 hours from now. OK that is now complete and everyone has six sets of numbers to choose from.

OK attention all players!!  This is to let hengest , magremore , mormonyoyoman , ffilz , Warrior Twin One , Warrior Twin Two , makofan & Richard that I have done more posting and although some stuff is vague I think it is now complete enough for you to pick and flesh out you characters. It is 10:30am where I am at and I hope to be one here several more times today and will try to address any questions you post in this thread. That is so I can find the questions quickly and do as much as I can today in the time segments I have. |

Once people have their characters created and you decide how much you have available to hire people with either individually or as a group we will proceed from their once you are ready to tell me what you want.
