Shudder has something like 10 or more of the old Frankenstein movies. I'm really debating on having a marathon...

If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm a big horror fan. I stopped by the redbox earlier and got the new Scream. The original Scream redefined the slasher genre and this entry redefines the Scream franchise. Scream 5 respects the franchise and adds to the mythos while using and respecting the legacy. If you like the Scream movies, then I highly recommend checking this out.

I watched The Cellar on Shudder earlier today. It had many similarities to the original Evil Dead but a bigger budget. It was really well done and the big jump scare got me. I should be used to it by now - I usually am well prepared for it - but it definitely made me jump. I was typing away and I jumped out of my skin. So far I've been really pleased with the Shudder originals I've watched. They're much better than the ones offered by SyFy Channel. If you like movies like Evil Dead or something similar to the Cthulhu Mythos then check it out.

After the flurry of discussion in another thread about NOBODY, I tracked it down at the redbox and I just got done watching the film. It's a great action movie and the bonus mid-credit and after-credit scenes are well worth watching. I would watch more entries if they made any sequels.

I currently have SPINE OF THE NIGHT playing on the TV while I'm browsing the forum and posting. I'm enjoying it so far. It's very reminiscent of Heavy Metal with the rotoscope animation style, the combat, the nudity, and in several other areas. Check it out.

It's not a movie but...
I don't recall ever seeing the LOGAN"S RUN movie but I may have watched it if it was shown on TV at some point; I would have been pretty young at the time so even I did see it I wouldn't be able to recall anything. I'm absolutely certain I have never read any of the books either, but the idea of the story always interested me so when I discovered I could watch the entire LOGAN'S RUN television show on Tubi I decided to watch it. I'm 5 episodes in and I'm definitely going to continue,

I bought SECRETS OF BLACKMOOR on Vimeo earlier today. I would have preferred a physical copy, but I didn't want to wait for it to ship. This is fascinating and I will watch it several times. More posts may be coming in the near future.

Latest movie for me was No Time to Die. Not the greatest Daniel Craig IMNSHO and it appears they were cleaning the slate in anticipation of a new Bond.

What??? There are books? I'll have to look for those! According to the wikipedia article there are 2 sequels, Logan's World and Logan's Search that were published in 1977 and 1980. There's also an e-book novelette called Logan's Return that was published in 2001. There are also two other novels that haven't been published yet and another sequel that was in development at the time of the author's death.

I know many people seem to love to hate on found footage movies, but I really dig them. Some of my favorite horror movies are from the found footage genre. When I saw that SHUDDER had a documentary about them, I had to watch it. Recommended.

I would like to see the original version of Misery that I watched at the theater. I saw it twice that way and there was a scene or two altered/removed. I also saw it a 3rd time on home video, and I swear it was different from those two. I would like to find out for sure.

This isn't a movie, but a TV series continuing the original movies. You may laugh but I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying the Cobra Kai series. I bought the season 1 & 2 combo pack for my son because he asked for it last Christmas. We started watching it and we binged the entire 2 seasons and then I picked up season 3 and we binged it. Season 4 is on my wish list and season 5 is coming soon...
