For my own sub-sector work, I've actually decided to not necessarily roll for space lanes that would "cross" a starport X, allowing them to create breaks and not have confusing things like the spacelane between 0502 and 0701 (whereas had 0601 been a non-X starport, but rolling for the J-1 connections had NOT connected it to both 0502 and 0701, I would allow the J-2 connection between 0502 and 0701 to create the J-1 connections also. Conversely, the existence of two J-1 routes connecting three worlds also means that the J-2 space lane exists between the two end cap worlds, so you can buy a J-2 jump cassette from 0403 to 0603 (and given all three are B starports, the J-2 became automatic existence because the J-1 space lanes are automatic between to B starports). I decided to do this compression of routes after rolling up a well connected sub-sector and having a crazy mess because of the J-2 and up connections criss-crossing everywhere. Actually, I don't even roll all the J-3 and J-4 connections. Frank
