The original Bard was very different from the other classes.

Did you use them as written?

Did you use the official writeup as inspiration for your version?

Did you forbid them in your games?

I always liked the idea of the Bard, if not the execution. I tried using them as written a time or two but wound up going for a much more standard class version after getting Palladium Fantasy.
