Munchkinism is IMO the bane of gaming. I think it is grounds for drawing and quartering the player, if there were not laws against it. What do you think? Here is an, IMO bozo, defense of Munchkinism - In Defense of Munchkinism © 1998-2001 Dru Pagliassotti One claim made is that everyone munchkin once. I disagree, I think that is far from the truth and that mistakes made as pre-teens and as young teens don't count against you, after all before 25-27 your pre-frontal lobes are not fully developed. And even so, many pre-teens and young teens were never munchkins.

Learning the game and making all of those mistakes - especially at a young age - is NOT the same as being a munchkin. A munchkin is a killjoy and ultimately campaign killer in my honest opinion.
