Back in 2022 early Feb, I apparently posted about doing a shared blog. I have failed to find the post, but what jogged my memory was that several of you responded to that post by sending me a PM about it and indicating your interest. Three of you responded ( arjen, hengest, The Semi-Retired Gamer) and I do not remember what happened two years ago that I never followed up on it. Also The Semi-Retired Gamer, suggested a name for the blog - "The Vaults of Murkhill." What do you guys think of that name for the blog? So I am asking if any or all of you would like to go forward with a shared blogger blog and if anyone else would like to join in. I think it would be fun to do a shared blog, so the more the merrier. Post here about what you think and if you want to be part of it also pm me the gmail address that you would like to use to be added to the account for the blog and I will work on getting it setup. Note: if you are a member of the forum and would like to contribute to the blog, this invitation is for you.

Sounds like a good name to me.
I don't know that I have anything good to contribute -- that's my only problem. But I'll pm you.

That is a great idea, but I can't commit to that, but I hope a lot of you do.

Much like muddywater I can't say as I'd be prolific enough to be a reliable contributor. My chaotic stream-of-consciousness is sporadic to say the least. Any thoughts on subjects/ground rules for such an endeavor or is this a "field day" type of situation?

Any thoughts on subjects/ground rules for such an endeavor or is this a "field day" type of situation? I was thinking along these lines 1. write when you have something to say, so post a lot or post a little, no min or max number of posts 2. something in some way related to the hobby 3. commentary on something or do something creative or anywhere in between. Opinion pieces, up on a soapbox rants, review something, recommend something, highlight something you like that someone did, etc. 4. a paragraph or 30 paragraphs split into a series of 5 posts, and etc. 5. if you want to talk about real life stuff (politics, religion) outside the hobby then start your own blog for those things Those are kind of rough thoughts I had. I kind of thought we would figure it out as we went. I'm open to suggestions.

I would be interested; there are still some articles I had prepped for the magazine, but those have been lingering for years now.

Cool, that would be great, send by pm the gmail address to use for the blog. Sometimes they actually could be used both places. We need to get the magazine moving too. In fact, stuff we have done here can be mined for both. I have posted here more in depth about some things that I have blogged about.
