the Black race, being ov tribal sort: The very savage && fierce
Dakhali--who refer to themselves as the Afar--in 2 great divisions
comprising 20+% of the pop.; && their counterpart the
Esu, continually at enmity && warring w/ the Dakhali, their #
being around 75k. Such volk as these still dwell in skin tents as
they roam the lands w/ their herds.

The Awash River drops from the
plateau into a volcanic region, flowing through the lava desert, its
waters there making an oasis-like AREA where wildlife, crocodile, &&
catfish abound, then gradually evaporating into salt marsh some 50
miles from the Mare Rubine.

Slavery is accepted, but there are few slaves, and most people are
free tribesmen/warriors fiercely devoted to the Babylonian Pantheon
&& constantly warring with those ov the Egyptian faith in the surrounding
realms. Some numbers of Yarbans && outcast Shamish &&
Babylonians have settled amidst the natives in the few cities.

Warriors

precious coral which is typically traded for other goods NOT produced
