Thumbnail Sketches: A small work has come to us relating to

Tonuia. This large kingdom lies N ov the lands ov the Muavinapuian

princes, rising gradually towards eastern hills && mts.--the

latter then sinking off into the terrible Luhiva Rainforest which lies N

&& E ov the realm. So little else is known about this realm that

we can only comment regarding 3 things: (1) Its inhabitants are

said to be the tallest && strongest ov all Lemurians, veritable giants

amongst all the peoples ov the Brown race; (2) Fabulous gems are reputed

to be mined from very deep shafts in the Ofua Mountains; && (3) Even

less certain is the tale that there are very terrible && potent monsters

inhabiting the lejendary Yoboyo Swamp in Tonuia's southeastern

part. Whether || not any ov this is true is uncertain. We withold

judgment pending moar info, && as data becomes avail.

The capital city of Tonu is noted for its 35-foot tall walls of stacked basalt boulders (some of which weigh 50 tons!). These were perhaps constructed as a precaution against incursions of beasts from the Yoboyo Swamp to the east and the Luhiva Jungle to the north. There are also stone-flagged roads in and around the city and a system of stone and clay-lined canals.
