What you do is look at the player who is about to do something extraordinarily stupid and ask:

"Are you sure you want to do that?"

Fudge is for eating, not your dice!

If you're changing the dice rolls willy nilly then you might as well be playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors" but throwing out tank, airplane, rocket launcher, octopus, etc. as your choice.
