Page 21 of pdf absolute page numbering The way that I read OD&D all Golden Dragons can use magic with the spell level they can use corresponding to each of the six stages of life they are in so an Ancient Golden Dragon could use 6th level spells. So we assume that all Golden Dragons can talk. They also have one spell for each hit die that they have. So as 10-12 Hit Die monsters as Ancient Dragons they would have 10-12 spells or roughly two spells for each spell level. Or would they get 10-12 spells for each level of spell. So are they powerful or super powerful? What do you think?

I like Ancient Dragons to be super powerful but not younger ones. I would need to review my personal write for dragons. It would not be unreasonable for a 100,000 year old dragon to have a lot of spells.

I've read your dragon version down in your game area, PD and your Ancient dragons should be unmatchable by a PC or group of PCs.
