Hi everyone, we have a new Help Board for members. It is a sub-board of this board the Village Commons. In the past we have sometimes had the situation where some will private message a member of the staff for help, but that member may not log in for a week or more because of health or another matter. I am always looking at the Proboards Support Board for features that would be helpful. There is a way to create a private board where any member can create a thread, but only that specific member and the staff can see that thread. So.. The Help Board is a private board, so users will not see all threads. Only the thread creator and the staff can see and respond to the thread they create. This offers the comfort of privacy for all members to deal with the staff and should be much easier to use than private messaging, because you don't have to remember to include each staff member individually in the private message. Also it will help avoid a help request being missed that is only directed to one staff member. This way any staff member who is online can see your message and potentially address it right away, if no discussion with the full staff is needed. So to test this, would at least two or three non-staff member create test threads in the Help Board and then post here that you have done so. Once you see that someone says here that they have created a thread, then go see if you can see that thread and let us know here if you can see anything you did not create. Thank you, hope this works better for all of us. Admin Pete

Ok, the testing is complete by both people on the Help Board and everyone can read what they need to and not what they don't need to.
Thanks guys for the help!
