So how much freedom will you have in the game? If you want to find a way down to the 5th or 8th or ?? level of a dungeon and go there as quickly as possible, go for it. If you want to attempt to assassinate the King of the country you are in, go for it. If you want a primarily Lawful, Neutral or Chaotic alignment party or a mixed party, go for it. Whatever you want for the personal morality of your PC, go for it. You have a lot of freedom to make decisions and choices, not that all of them would be wise. Be aware that some decisions will get you killed, some might get you throw in jail or placed in the stocks or a public flogging and placed in the stocks, or something else. As I said in the other thread this is not a murderhobo game. Murderhobos are to be considered monstrous characters and/or serial killers and will be dealt with by the campaign world accordingly. Please note that if you take a character that is Chaotic or Evil, the other characters, if wise, will kill you at the first sign that you cannot be trusted. They are well within their rights to do so.

I usually run a game of exploration no matter where you are whether in a dungeon or in the wilderness or someplace else. Reputation is very important in the game. So you are encouraged to try to avoid combat as the first and only option. Once you earn a reputation that you never talk or negotiate and attack on sight and never show mercy, then fairly quickly the monsters will adopt the same stance towards you. They don't want to die any more than you do.
I am OK with the group or the individuals in the group pursuing group and/or individual goals and you are free to go about that anyway that you want. Just be aware that every way has its own consequences.
I do not recognize the viewpoint of breaking a world. IMO all worlds exist to be lived in and what some call breaking a world I call the consequences of normal game play and if a ref cannot handle that, stop reffing and stick to being a player. Nothing you do will mess up anything on my end so don't feel you need to hold back

I loved how Ferdinand's recent action was handled. The ref just said the result. It was awesome.
