This is not old school, but it might interest some of the readers around here. It looks like The Stormlight Archive is coming to the roleplaying hobby with The Stormlight RPG sometime in 2024. I've only read the first 2 books in the planned 10 book series, but I thoroughly enjoyed them and immediately thought somebody should do this. I have the next 2 books on my shelf and need to get cracking because the 5th book is due out next year as well. If you haven't read Sanderson yet, the man writes like a machine. During the COVID craziness, he wrote several secret project books and sometimes it seems like every time you turn around you find another book written by him has been released. He also finished the Wheel of Time for Robert Jordan and he's read that series many times himself.
