Never have. although I love the idea of Chainmail mass combat when appropriate. Never even tried running it.

Sure have. Many options unavailable to the alternate d20 system in Man to Man.

Used to, back in the 70's/80's. Mostly for ideas: the Warlock game I played back then used several of its ideas.

I've never been able to "grok" Chainmail, then again the way it's laid out RAW is even more chaotic/random (to my mind) than Gary's DMG  Definitely a game I think better taught by another player than by reading the esoteric tome. Certainly would love to play a game with someone more familiar with the rules though. |

The only "sand" tables I have seen have been set up by model train people with lots of tracks and the fully modded landscapes around them. |

I just spent 20,000 hours becoming an expert at setting up a model railroad station with a special gaming room where tiny figures play a mini-RPG of my design in which they develop design skills for...oops, I went too deep, and also mixed up my threads. |
