Looking at the Gods, Demi-gods & Heroes Supplement for OD&D, have you ever used it? Why or why not?

I have only played solo and have had no reason to use this.

I have not used it, because none of that is in my game. I create my own heroes and the rest is out of reach of mere mortals.

I think those way beyond the realm of mortals don't need to be well-defined in their powers, spells, etc. I think a description of their appearance and some hints about their goals, etc. is enough. The rest is beyond mortal understanding anyway.

I liked reading that book as a teenager, but it all seems out of place for any campaign I can even imagine running or enjoying. Plus, as said above...do you really need clear stats for gods?
