Please use this thread for writing comments about the campaign thread. All I can say is Wow! that is quite a world you have there.

This is quite interesting. I would probably start about 10 years after where you start, but that is me. I also would take things a different direction, I tend to not use any of the demonic stuff in my game, the bad guys may deal with them, but that is off camera. I really like the concept and I think that especially younger people who have had their minds liberated from video game play, could really get into this. This is a game you want to play for 40+ real world years.
I am curious to see how you campaign develops over time. I am particularly interested in the domain game management and the generational play aspects. We have a much older member, who does the generational play and I believe has played through over 400 years of game time. He is rarely on much anymore.
Guessing that those who are not already accomplished world builders may need more help with creating the setting and getting started. It is a fine line to walk about saying too much or not nearly enough as it depends on the audience. So I can see that you might need a world building supplement. However, there is a lot of stuff for that already out there, some of it free, so you might just list some world building resources for people to use.

Why would you start 10 years after as that defeats the purpose of exploration and establishing the first city? Because my preference would be to pick it up once the direct interaction with the deity was over. Personally, I would not want to play that out. Of course, I just threw out 10 years as a guess on how long the education might take before they were mostly on their own. The only reason why the demon existed was because Frank's second wizard took the warlock/witch kit. Part of it is them having to deal with extra-planetary creatures like demons. Frank, he plays the king, spent like the first 11 months building the first barony, training, and plying trade. Uruk, the capitol, has every building to level 1, except for walls. Domain management is pretty straightforward and we breeze through it quickly. The world is built naturally through play. It requires input from the players. For world building, I was including the physical part of the world, Continents, Islands etc and size, location etc.

The interaction with the god and goddess for me was just narrating the first few days of the tribe being taught their classes and how to survive. For training, the interaction extends only to a dice roll and that's it. You don't have to use the deities in the game as NPCs. I do use them occasionally as the circumstances demand it. Like Iltani only showed up because of an event on the event table for that round and all the women in the tribe got pregnant at the same time. The only other time was when Eannta kidnapped Ulgar's daughter to sacrifice the child for more power. It backfired in the end. I can see that, but everything is blank on names etc... for the AM and his players to decide. That's why the blank map is like it is. I did start to name things, but my players were like telling me not to. The entire point is for every table that plays to have their own unique Malignost. If I include world building stuff beyond what I have is directing them in a path I would take and not them. You'll see what I mean in a few hours Hal. What I meant was guidance or information on how to make original blank maps. Yours is a good map, but they may want to make their own. I don't know yet if you have portions of you make a different scales or not. That kind of thing. I am anticipating what else you have in a few hours.

I did a quick skim and I am HIGHLY impressed with what I see! I want to read it in detail BUT I better get back to work so I can get out of here and back to the house.

You really should start writing a novel, you have the words to do it.

I'm looking at setting up a second game for a different group of people. They'll be playing in the same world as my first game, so it will be interesting to see what race they pick. I got the itch...
