Just out of curiosity, when it comes to movie sequels do you have any that you think are just as good as the original film or maybe even better?

Many of the sequels for A Nightmare on Elm Street are really not that good. I felt that #2 was a dip in quality but still decent. For me, the best sequel in the entire franchise is A Nightmare on Elm Street III: The Dream Warriors. This was a nice take on the standard routine in these films plus it hard the rock band Dokken ont he soundtrack so it's a win, win for me.

This one might stir the pot a bit, but I think ALIENS is just as good and might even be better than the original ALIEN film.

This one might stir the pot a bit, but I think ALIENS is just as good and might even be better than the original ALIEN film. 20 years ago I agreed. I still agree, but I haven't seen either one in about 20 years. So who knows, my taste may have changed. But without a rewatch, I agree.
