Some interesting Chukchee (an ethnic group in Siberia) creatures.
Here are some cool ones:
Re'kken - Bear demon with massive ears and extraordinary hearing. May be a guardian spirit as well.
Koca'tko - Vicious polar bear with a body made of solid ivory.
Mtrg-u' mki - Hairless anthropophagous bear that lures people in by mimicking the voice of a distressed individual.
Keli'lhu - Ogre with massive, unhingeable jaws that extend down to its chest and long-clawed paws, mouth is so heavy he needs to force it shut with his hands.
E'nmi-ta'an - The "mountain echo," basically a Blemmyes made of rock.
E'tti-ta'an - The "echo of the wood," a humanoid tree monster without hands or feet.
Va'amen - Resembles a fish with a human head, signifies death to whoever sees it unless immediately caught and dismembered.
Ta' qi-ne'ut - Bloodthirsty female ex-human who was transformed into a black beetle and wears her victims' skins.
