The Cloud, a sinister anchient evil

Cloud is not the true name of this decadent city. It's name is lost in the sands of time and the opium that gives the place it's name. The inhabitants come here to escape whatever they are running from. It is far too easy to get caught up by the rampant drugs, flowing so easily to citizens. Just standing in the streets, you can get hooked on the clouds of opium and sinister drugs even worse. One of the odd uses of the city is for other plaes to use as a sort of prison, bringing the offenders here to partake of the ills.

If the pc's are careful, they could free political and wealthy "convicts".

When the city dwellers are at their most advanced stages of addictions, they are rumered to know the secrets of the alien dream cities

The wealth to feed the vices is in the form of a ruby mine the city was built by. Miners are slaves horribly mistreated. A slave revolt would go a long way to curbing the cities curruption. Long forgoten is the fact that the currant city citizans are the great grand children of a slave revolt in cycles never ending

Benin is an escaped slave looking for help to free his friends. He tells of the fabulous rubys that would be for the taking. He leaves out the fact that the slaves are not ready for this step.As a last resort , he has a single rupy to pay the pcs with but he is saving it for a comfortable retirement

Ape Men

Only found in and near the city, the attacks from them are getting out of hand. The appeared about 6 months ago, seemingly out of nowhere. The thinking about them is that they are from a lost age. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are drug users mutated by the drug Tomax, a resent find

Unfortunately one of the main gates into the Dreamlands is just outside the city. This gate is  surrounded by curios stoned people and the Ape Men often jump the travelers..

Another side effect of the drugs is these hazards. Often they will just rave but just as often attack. They vary greatly but the stats below cover it.

Once in a while the fog turns into animal brained hazards This is but one type
This type causes msive headaches the hamper thinking. This results in -2 to hit and 1/2 mpvement .Also there is a 25% chance that you can do nothing.

This blue transparent bull is the product of a dreamer having a dream inside the Dreamlands. it must be killed 3 times in a row.
