I though this was a hoot and Aubrey Plaza is great in any type of off the wall thing.

I low Aubrey Plaza's off best humor. I have seen a lot her interviews where she masterfully makes everyone else uncomfortable and unsure of themselves. Classic!

I love the line, "Squished into a slime that is legal to sell." That is what plant "milks" are, you take hard objects (seeds and nuts) and squish them into slime and add water. They all, IMO, taste awful and when they add sugar and flavorings to allegedly make them palatable, the added sugar negates any alleged health benefits. If I drink milk (almost never), then I want whole grass-fed milk. No skim milk for me.

If you don't want to drink milk, easy, don't drink it. You don't want to eat beef: no problem, don't eat it. It just seems odd to me that anyone would go to the trouble of making these things. Let's have imitation walnuts made from beef, or imitation bananas made from duck. I wonder why you never hear of that.

I think those that don't want to eat or drink a specific food product are ardently against the specific target(s) to make the rest of us suffer too...misery loves company. Too cynical? Maybe. I like to eat animal flesh no ifs, ands or buts. I don't prep my own because it's convenient to obtain from the market. I could hunt and prep it if I needed to and have done so in the past. Same with growing my own plant products. Convenient to buy, not so convenient (for me) to grow.
Mmmmm steak walnuts and Peking bananas sound wonderful lol

When I was a kid, I always wondered why I could not get beef flavored chewing gum. Or any number of other meat based flavors, I mean who wouldn't like bacon chewing gum?

They had good writers and she is a really, really talented actress. She can play a very scary villain. She and John Lithgow, share the talent of being comedians who rock out a psychopathic villains.

The only imitation food I like! What is that? I don't recognize them, at least nothing I've ever had. Is that some kind of red licorice?

Swedish Fish are my favorite sweets from my youth. They come in a variety of colors but red seems to be the most popular. I don't think it's licorice but something similar. I know they're at Wal-Mart and in the dollar stores. I'm sure they're in other places too.

I've been around folks brave or foolish enough to eat those nasty flavored jelly beans, disinclined to try them myself. Old sock and band aid do not make me at all curious to try them lol. Or vomit, or booger or...can't imagine what it's like to be the taste tester in that factory!

The only seafood I like is a hush puppy. I got tricked into trying one of those Jellybeans. Utterly disgusting. Beware of small children offering treats!

Beware of small children offering treats! Exactly! We were at a family function and the kids were eating those nasty jellybeans. One of the younger girls ran into the kitchen to rinse her tongue straight from the faucet and was slapping her tongue. Apparently old band-aid is particularly unpleasant

Even stale, Swedish Fish are still tasty Indeed, they are! I always felt like the Doctor offering a Jelly Baby when I got a bag of them at SEARS when I was a child.

You deserve an Exalt for showing MY DOCTOR Woo Hoo! Jelly Babies are...interesting. at least the ones I tried. Much softer than Swedish Fish and the flavors are definitely different. Decidedly an English confection, I'm not familiar enough to have an educated palette. They weren't bad, just different.

simrion, thanks! I've never tried Jelly Babies. I wouldn't even know where to get them. It's good to hear that they may be different tasting but they aren't disgusting. I'm right there with you. Tom Baker is by far the best Doctor. There have been other good Doctors but Tom Baker will always be my favorite. I have enjoyed some stories in the revival series but I have to say it's a letdown for me when taken as a whole. It really has lost much of the charm of the classic era in my opinion.

I love Aubrey Plaza, she is funny and off the wall. Also can play a hair raising serial killer too. Great satire, all that fake milk needs made fun of. If I were running for office, I would want something like that for a campaign ad.
