Over at Anthropologist in the Attic the following essay was posted: 7 Bizarre Ancient Cultures That History Forgot. It is not really about Bizarre Cultures it is about Lost Cultures that we know a lot less about that we would like to. Quite interesting and it spurs a number of directions things could be spun off from just these little bits.

These links both still work and are quite worthwhile. The one about ancient cultures (about which little is known) is a gold-mine for any worldbuilder.

TPD posted both of those links and the blog Anthropologist in the Attic is a really good resource to mine for world building. A rich resource.

I have always been of a mind that all Ancient Cultures are Bizarre.
