I think they are missing the boat as well. One poster gets it, though with this reply, "We might end 2023 with Pathfinder 2.5e where your attributes are Might, Agility, Stamina, Smarts, Wits and Personality, you lose Life Points if an attack beats your Protection Class, and you cast Arcane Missile at a Birdbear.". The big thing is using your own wording and terms and ensuring you don't mimic the presentation. Make if THEIRS. It's nitpicky, it's laborious, it's monotonous, but it's NOT impossible or as hard as these people are making it out to be. |

Am I the only guy who's leery about Piazo slipping more than a little woke bullshite into ORC? Now, my doc may be right with his paranoia diagnosis, but I'm pretty sure I've seen the so called 'Saviors of the TTRPG Industry' do their share of virtue signaling before - within the last 2 days even! One of my objections to OGL 1.1 was that WotC got to decide what was offensive/inappropriate content, like - say, evil orcs or dark elves or whatever.
I'm not deliberately being a rabble rouser or anything ... just being very cautious about throwing all in with these guys, based on past observations.
I do like the idea of a Linux like agreement ... just not sure Piazo leading the way is in the Old School's best interests.

I think JMiskimen is correct, I think Paizo is quite woke IIRC. I have not followed them at all, but I think you are right. |
