My daughter said she was "tired of seeing my paint brushes in an old Solo cup" so she got me an actual paint brush holder. I've looked at some over the past year or so but I never made it a high priority because the cup was working just fine. When I opened her gift, I was surprised to see it was a TARDIS! Very cool!  |

I was thinking about this and one of the favorite gifts I ever got, was a married friend of mine from college, sent me a 60 min tape several years after college singing about 20 folks songs acapella with a metronome to keep time. She has perfect pitch and it was a really good gift. I wore that tape out. These days (35 years later) it would have been sent digital and would have lasted the rest of my life.

My fav girt this year was the yeti-like pajamas my wife got me. I wear the top all the time and threw the bottoms ou cause they were way too tight
