Here in Columbus at 10:47am today it is -7°F with a wind chill of -32°F and with all the blowing it is hard to tell, but I think we got at least 4 inches and maybe more. High today is supposed to be -2 °F with wind chills as low as -34°F.
How is it where you are?

Here in Claremore, OK it is currently a steamy 6 degrees but it feels like it's 11 below zero. A few inches of snow on the ground as well.

When I was in Cleveland, I went to work (in the field) one day when it was -21°F and wind chills to -50°F and spent four hours outside in it at a factory with a maintenance guy in insulated coveralls. I was fine back then. But now, I cannot imagine. Found out the next day that I was the only person in the district that worked that day.

Here in Rochester, NY lots of wind and temps in the single digits (negative wind chill.) Not huge amount of snow but numerous power outages. Had to talk the Wife through generator connection and start up so they had power during the 6+ hour outage window. A few years back bought a 17kw gas powered portable and had an electrician install hook up direct to fuse box. Powers whole house like a champ!
