Background.
In between the Great Galactic Wars, the Scorpead had a huge problem. Discontent had spread across the fleet. At s first it started as minor acts of sabotage and assassinations of command command level personnel. The rank and file were unhappy with what they saw as a lack of aggression of senior staff. High Command realized quickly that the problem was spreading and required a harsh reaction. They hung many of the leaders and it quickly got out of hand to the point that they started locking down certain command functions, mostly concerning Luck Generators and electronic warfare systems so the loyal forces could easily retake the ships they had lost control out of. It was too late. A full blown civil war broke out.The mutineers nearly destroyed all the fleet and poised the Corporation to start Galactic War II and put an end to the Scorpead.
