Thanks for the recognizing the veterans! I put it 8 years in the Army. Sometimes I wonder how it would have been if I would have stayed?

Happy Veterans Day - Thank You For Your Service Yes! I second this sentiment. Having never served myself I have nothing but appreciation for all of those who stepped up and put their lives on the line for the freedoms I enjoy. Thank You!

Thank all of you for your service. I myself am not a Veteran, I have a birth defect with missing bone in the lower vertebrate of my spine that prevented me from serving. I have great respect for those who have served and I have a lot of Veterans in my family.

Yes, mormonyoyoman is a Veteran and it is there were he sustained the injuries that lead to the neurological problems he has that lead to his retirement from forum participation. He is on FB a little bit now and then to interact with family and friends.
