After the basic rule set that you use, OD&D(3LBBs) or something else, what else do you use in your game?

I draw from the different TSR publications, I draw from Arduin and from everything I have ever read from fiction and non-fiction. I try to take things in directions that are at a tangent from the previous idea.

I'm currently running an off-the-cuff D20 Star Wars campaign using an idea freely appropriated from the Evergence Trilogy by Sean Williams & Shane Dix. I received some unexpected "high praise" when one player leaned over to another and stated "This is what epic Star Wars stories are made of!" I just can't convince anyone at the table to take "heroic" style actions, they all value their characters to much LOL

My main "other" source is Planes of Possibility.. It is by WOTC before Magic. It has everything you need to know about using lots of planes for any sort of game. It survived the Great Flood! I think it is on pdf.
