We always loved horses, dad and mom had 45 head near the end of their lives. When I was a baby dad had a stallion, that was part Arabian, but he was not sure of the complete ancestry. An all white horse, very active and quick, but weighed 1400 lbs and he rode him all the time miles cross country back in the 50s in WV when he farmed with horses. At that point in time dad weighed 220#, plus the western saddle and add a 100# sack of grain behind the saddle and the horse treated it like it was nothing. He also had a mare that was about 1100 lbs with no real info on the ancestry except she naturally paced. Smoothest gate ever to ride, as fast as a gallop, but comfortable like she wasn't even moving.

If you count my Fatboy and 3 previous bikes as 'Iron Horses,' then, yes, I've been riding for a heckuva long time. JM.
