Nrutas, a mineral rich planet that is easily neutralized. It is 90% iron with a blast hardened surface. The planet creating a thick steel mantle. Many attempts were made to mine it by mega corps, but an intrepid colony of religious refuges made the first mine and colony near a large vein of uranium. These Amish welcomed miners into their midst by constant failures of the mega Corps. Life is harsh except for one thing, a strange extreophile moss was found to be both prolific and nutritious, thriving on the massive solar flares.

The citizens collected fungus when the flares were light and mined uranium when the flares were bad. When empire ships came, they traded their good for parts, exotic food and entertainmetnt goods. You can't own Nrutas, you can only rent

You also can't destroy Nrutas , you can only neutralize it. by triggering a flare with heavy weapons and running like hell.

Adventure hook
Miners Dealing with the harsh conditions are worth the price:uranium, gold and chromium are all in abundance. The Amish will help in any way they can, they would love to have friends in another colony, the only thing they will not do is help you mine. Stranded miners however, looking for a way out, will happily assist in exchange for passage out of system
