I have my thinking cap on.... I recall when that young girl was made into a vampire & would remain forever 12 years old in Interview With a Vampire. So, maybe something along those lines but bite a quadriplegic so they gain immortality BUT are paralyzed. How's that? |

They can turn someone or they can keep them as a blood source for as long as possible, taking a little bit at a time until they die. Of course the psychological torture that goes with that. Not sure what else they could do, maybe capturing other family members one at a time and turning them in front of the person they are slowing draining.
