DC Comics 1) Lower the over all power level, Superman can move the planet I'd like him powered down to be able to pick up an aircraft carrier and fly a little w it and it would be difficult for him. 2)make it a little clearer that Aquaman has big time super strength, I didn't realize this until I was in my late 20s 3) re do the Invasion super series (alien Invasion), and have the DC universe damaged and recovering 4) Take Batman out of the JLA, give him his own group(Batman does not play well w others) Have Nightwing take his place 5)Totally give up on Artists writing 6) a huge budget 3 part, faithful adaptation of Frank Miller's Dark Knight series w Bruce Willise as Batman(Batman in the series is about 60 and Willum Defoe as the Joker
Great casting! I remember when people thought Michael Keaton was a crazy choice, but it worked out. Willem Defoe as the Joker is something I would definitely like to sew! Bruce Willis has a brain problem called aphasia and had to retire, shame cause he is only 67. |

DC Comics
1) Get rid of all the deviant pervert stuff that has been introduced into the comics over the years.
2. Make it clear that Superman never kills and beef up his power level to the max that was previously depicted.
3. Remember that Superman is also super intelligent and due to his study of the information his parents left him, he is also super wise.
4. Remember that Superman and make it clear, that he always pulls his punches and limits himself so he does not kill, so when he runs into a super foe, he does poorly initially because he has to recalibrate his effort and then he does very well.
5. NO matter what Superman and Batman are best friends and no one and nothing can drive a wedge between them. They have known each other from their earliest active days.
6. Batman is a genius, on the level of Lex Luthor and Brainac, he is the inventor not Alfred.
7. Robin is not canon and not part of the Batman mythos.
8. Batgirl is part of canon and is Batman's niece.
9. Jimmy Olson has red hair and freckles and is about 10 years younger than Superman.
10. Lois Lane is Dejah Thoris level hot.
11. Superman's only weaknesses are Kryptonite and Magic and direct exposure to a Red Sun at close range (half a light year distance). His superpowers come partly from all the different radiations he was exposed to during his journey to earth. He comes from over a billion light years away and his spaceship bounced through galaxy after galaxy and worm hole after worm hole on his journey here. What he was exposed to is completely unique. He is highly mutated and can absorb energy directly from any source, just a lot less from a Red Sun. If he flies into the Sun and absorbs up to his max, he can then fly up to 10 times the speed of light for a 100 light year radius from earth and return on just that charge of power. Of course in that radius there are numerous stars where he can repeatedly boost the charge. This means that to travel to any other galaxy he must use a worm hole or someone helps him with magic, since galaxies are an average of 1 million light years apart. He could, being effectively immortal, travel between galaxies unassisted by absorbing the background radiation of the universe, but it would be a very long trip since he would only be traveling at 10% over the speed of light. Superman appears to age at about the same speed of his closest friends, but when they pass away, he will revert to looking about 25 and that is the basic age he will look for billions of years.
12. Green Lantern is powered by magic, very powerful magic.
13. Create an equivalent of Dr Strange who fights evil magic and frequently teams up with Superman and other superheroes who are vulnerable to magic. He frequently gets help with opponents that are greatly/mostly immune to magic.
14. Most of what has happened in the comics and movies over the last 50 years is not canon and start a whole new series of comics lines to bring things back to a more moral level. Use tech to get the prices of comics down as much as practical. Bring back better story lines. Bring comics back to being for kids, instead of being R-rated. Relive the days when comics where for kids, but were well written enough that adults loved them too.
15. When it comes to movies, enough with the endless origin stories reboots. Assume people have read the comics or have a basic understanding and move on with new stories. In fact, make a summary of the origin stories for each superhero with live actors and post these 30-40 minute movies free online.
16. Stop, really stop, writing superhero's as being stupid and having poor judgement. Stop writing them as deeply flawed people who maybe should be locked up.
17. Bring out at least four movies a year.
18. Don't forget Supergirl (Superman's cousin) and have them team up in some movies and also their own separate movies.
19. Superman should be ruggedly handsome, tall and muscular. Supergirl should be stunningly beautiful, tall, athletic and have strong features, nothing weak about her face.
20. Find young actors that look the part and have the talent and secure long term commitments from them to play the characters. Vet them well for their own character and ethics up front.

You laid out many of the problems. Great answer, indeed. I also think vetting the actors is a good idea these days and in a lot of cases should have been done in the past. But vet the directors and other people too and get the deviants out. |
