I see this old series pop up from time to time. I believe the entire series is on tubi so I may set aside the time. Any opinions?

When I was 16, I loved it, I re watched it and it is very dull, slow paced and poorly acted. it is unwatchable

Skipping this. I've never seen it as I mentioned above, but I based on the clip above I think you guys are viewing it through a modern lens. It strikes me as being campy like the original TV Batman. |

Once I watch some of it, I will report back. and mao I decided to give it a go because I think my earlier assessment was based on an episode of a different show. I'm 5 minutes into the first episode and I'm willing to continue. It seems like it's a show with decent - maybe big ideas, even - but it's hampered by the budget and technology of the times. There was one scene where you could see a wife when one of the actors was "thrown" around but Doctor Who had the same issue at times during the 4th Doctor era. I'm not going to get too far into it tonight BUT I will view at least a few episodes. |

There have been a lot of things that the only problem was the budget. Anything made before today, even if today is 50 years from now, will suffer due to the technology of the time period it was made in. |

I really like this avatar Thanks! I always enjoyed playing a Knight or Paladin type character so it seemed to fit with the Defender of the Faith title. |
