What do you think, do monsters dream? Have an Exalt for such a fun and interesting question! I say YES for no other reason than I know my dog dreams by the noises and the slight movements he makes at times. If a "simple minded dog" can dream, why not a monster? |

I have heard my dog bark (quiet bark wulf wulf wulf) in her sleep many times, and occasionally I will hear her growl in her sleep. I am sure she is hunting varmints in her dreams. |

Yes, I think monster do dream. If dungeons dream that would explain the many surreal encounters you find there. Perhaps the players are trapped inside the dream of a sentient dungeon.

Every thing dreams, monsters most certainly do and I am sure that dungeons do too. That is why things are always changing in dungeons, they change through their dreams. I am sure that magic items that are lost are gathered into dungeons through their dreams. Magic items may also be created by their dreams.

Monsters dream and dungeons dream. Each dungeon level is a dream environment and when you invade a dungeon to explore it you can get tangled up with its dreams. Each individual adventurer has his own relationship with a dungeon. Some adventurers are liked by dungeons and some are hated by dungeons. Be careful what you say in a dungeon, you don't want to offend it. Be respectful of a dungeon (and the monsters in it), it fact by "thinking out loud," it may be possible to sometimes negotiate with a dungeon.
