I saw this in a museum the other day: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_(archangel)#/media/File:GIORDANO,_Luca_fallen_angels.jpg As soon as I saw it, it looked like a fantasy RPG to me. Not like art in splatbooks (kind of, though), but like a Zak-style bit of inspired good vs. evil takedown deathmatch business. Like something someone would go for. A feeling in an image. Any other art that shouted RPG or D&D to anyone?

Lots of art that shouts Fantasy for me, not sure what RPG or D&D art "should be"; such a large spectrum of Fantasy art and illustration extending over the ages to test one's many ranges and tastes for a FRPG. Tastes/Inclinations could also differ according to specific ideas of inclusion rather than generally applied alone, so my answer in general is "YES". Specifically? It all depends.

The Romantics generally inspire my fantasy landscapes, like Caspar David Friedrich.

I stumble across things now and then. Collating them is the primary purpose of my Tumblr (bluesfortheredsun.tumblr.com). They're mostly photographs of people or places which could find their way into a game as visual aids: things which in some way exemplify the aesthetic of Titan.

I generally like fine line drawing, as noted in the link here to Allen K www.allenk.com/artwork/index.htmI was going to commission a piece from him at one time.
