Do you allow Fire Balls and/or Lightening Bolts to Breach a Rock Wall? Please explain your reasoning.

I would allow it, if they were alternating heat and cold, or heat and then applying a substantial amount of water.

I would say that each blast would remove some rock and that persistence would get it done.

No, not really, it may crack the surface, but you will need to use tools to start making a any hole appear.
