As always, this is the preliminary version. I just got it out of my head so I could revise it further from here. Feel free to comment and provide feedback.Battle-RaisedNumber Appearing | Number In Lair | AC | Move Rate | HD | Lair Nearby | Treasure Type | Alignment | 1D4+2 | n/a | 7 | 6 | 2+2 | n/a | n/a | C |
BATTLE-RAISED are often confused with standard zombies but they are actually a related but more powerful monster. Similar to zombies, normal missiles have no effect on them, sustenance is not required, and they never need a morale check to continue to fight. They are raised from the aftermath of a recent battle and will still be wearing their armor and carrying a weapon. Battle-raised are magically linked together and share malevolent energy among the group of 3-6. As each one of the lone monsters is slain, the remaining Battle-Raised will have their AC improve by 1. When the second and later Battle-Raised is slain a D6 is rolled with the following results: a roll of 1 or 2 grants the remaining Battle-Raised a +1 to hit, a roll of 3 or 4 grants the remaining Battle-Raised a +1 to damage, and a roll of 5 or 6 increases their move by 3. This benefit is in addition to the AC improvement.

This is great. I like your takes on the undead. Good to see more Toldara material.
I get the sense from the stuff posted in here that you could have a really varied, rich campaign with actually interesting, manifold combat and mass combat.

The undead are definitely among my favorites of the monsters. Toldara is (hopefully) a mix of the best of all the contents from many of my games throughout the years. I've had these ideas stuck in my head for a long time. Between this forum and Delving Deeper it has become much easier to put the ideas in a solid form. That's what I aim for.
