Another project I'm working on, for a wargame facebook group challenge, is a ruleset for a skirmish/wargame that can eb played in 15 minutes max. I attached my WiP, if anyone wants to try it out and tell me what they think I would appreciate that. I'll post the finished product here too when I'm ready. The only think you need is 10 miniatures (army-men from the dollar store work fine), some tokens , dice (d6s) and terrain (cereal boxes or any collection of boxes from the cupboard work fine). 15 minute wargame.pdf (692.55 KB) |

Let us know how it goes, looks pretty thorough. I've played it twice now with different opponents and several times solo. It's quick, brutal and can be very swingy and fun. Because of the time element and the chess clock used a stupid move can be a great one in the end if it makes the opponent pauze, wonder and waste time figuring out what's behind the move, just like speed chess. I may record a game the next time I play. |

I will be giving this a closer look. I have an idea in the back of my mind for a game called GRUNTS that uses the little green Army men but instead of going through the design process your game looks pretty cool to me!

Back in the day ,I .used to play lots of miniatures, I will try and get a "volunteer" and hopefully I can give it a try.

I am going to strong arm my son, should be easy. when I did minis at my house it was always skirmish so I will know what I am looking at. Abot the only tine I will be able to get this in in te next month or two |

First Impression
I like wher you are going w this BUT I think youve only got it about 75% done
I the game is 15 the rules need to be streamlined and more troop types
This is very unique and can see it,s potential, they say writing is rerwrigting, I think you can end up w something pretty good

Ok ,at this point I am not quite ready to introdce this. I need a couple of re-reads to familierize this. but still like it, I will be less vague in a couple of days.
