(Stealing this good idea from The Semi-Retired Gamer.) For personal reasons, it's been years since I read much. Certainly not many books. Maybe it's time to give it a shot again and follow some good examples. No promises, but I'll try to do what semiretiredgamer's doing: keep a list and write a bit about each book. And if there's only 3 by the end, I can rename the thread and have it work for next year, too! 1. The Worlds of J.R.R. Tolkien by John Garth (will review when I am done and post about it elsewhere as promised, looks really cool so far)

I've thought about reading that particular book so that's a great first choice.
