Over on another forum a member posted a link to his new blog.
He said I fixed the link to the blog post.
Once this is complete, he will have done something that up to now no "historian" has even attempted. Good for him! Looks like we have a new player on the RPG historian page and it looks like this one is serious about it.
It is hilarious that this is just now being attempted here in 2021. In a logical world, all of this information would already be on Wikipedia.
Disclaimer I did not include the link to the other forum since that would be a breach of etiquette.

Yeah, very cool. I had no idea there were so many. That is because of the long running and widely (and loudly) promoted trope that Arneson didn't do anything. The trope that the dominant narrative on the vast majority of forums and by the vast majority of those who claim to be old school. There are whole forums dedicated to Arneson hate.

Yeah, very cool. I had no idea there were so many. Me either. I knew about Don't Give Up the Ship, D&D, Blackmoor, Shadowrun modules, and some computer gaming stuff. Not even close to all of it.

It's easy to find the Arneson bashing out there on the web. There's a certain editor that showed up AFTER all the game design had been completed but likes to edit history itself by downplaying Arneson's contribution and overplaying his own contributions. This person could make some true contributions to any discussion of old school D&D but he is a Negative Nancy. Too bad.
