Well, here's the final product (or a link to it). The Starship WardenI believe James Ward was directly involved in the writing. I watched several interviews with him through the years recently, and here I will paraphrase him, "they wanted me to write more than the original 17 floors". The PDF is about 640+ pages. I have not yet purchased a copy. From what I understand it's not written for Metamorphosis Alpha (1st ed.). It's written for rules called Siege Engine from Troll Lord Games, but those are in one owners opinion close to OD&D rules.

Yeah, I thought so, read this from the Kickstarter, I added bold to the relevant statement.

Follow up on The Starship Warden book. I was in my friendly local game store and they had copies for sale! Since they weren't sealed I browsed one. There is a small section to allow conversions to MA 1st ed. rules. The publisher says (on Drivethrurpg) that the basic rules for Star Siege are included (I was busy looking at the pretty pictures, and maps).
