I saw that the reactions are mixed to the trailer for the new Hellboy: The Crooked Man moving coming this year. Some don't like the fact that it is lower budget and more horror focused. I've never read the original comic book, but I believe it was as independent rather than mainstream comic book so lower budget with a fan film feel should be about right. I watched the trailer, and it didn't make me NOT want to watch the film. Might be worth a look... Dayum! I'll watch this! Looks good to me!

The movie was called The Adam Project a science fiction time travel movie with Ryan Reynolds and Zoe Saldaña, two of my favorite actors.

That's the thing about Youtube, some movies are only there unofficially apparently and they are not their very long.
In the last two weeks I watched all three of the Denzel Washington Equalizer movies.
Early this year I watched the first three John Wick movies with Keanu Reeves.

I just watched "Thor - Love and Thunder" on my Roku TV on Youtube. I cannot locate the link to link it here though.
I had never heard of this movie and ran across it by accident.
On one hand it is funny and campy and tongue in cheek while also being a good story and poignant.
On the other hand it is not safe for children to watch because of both woke perversion and a realistic portrayal of the hedonistic Zeus. It was trimmed (visually) for a PG-13 rating, but even with those trims it should be rated R.
Chris Hemsworth and the other main actors did a great job and I enjoyed the movie, I just wouldn't show it to anyone under 16.

I just finished Late Night with the Devil and it was an interesting take on the horror genre. You Sir, find some positively creepy fare...are you sure you're not fully retired? I'm sure - every time we do a 50+ hour work week, my body reminds me. I'm a lifelong horror / B-movie fan. Growing up in the 1980's we had the Saturday night creature features on the local FOX channel, the local OETA channel had Dr. Who and The Tripods along with the BBC versions of the Narnia movies and the old, animated version of The Hobbit, Star Trek was constantly on during the summer breaks, and the big wave of the first VHS rental stores popping up everywhere fueled my cravings for more of these offerings. Oh, Halloween was a BIG deal back in those days with kids roaming the streets in full costume in all of the neighborhoods. Streaming services scratch the itch in a lot of ways these days but it just isn't the same. I remember getting stacks of horror movies, several friends, Dr. Pepper, and snacks so we would stay up until all hours of the night watching this stuff. The good old days!

I don't go to the theater for my movie fix these days, but I do make some exceptions. My son and I watch Deadpool and Wolverine yesterday and it was great! There is a lot of fan service in this movie and many inside jokes as well. I feel like most of them can be understood by the casual viewer. I enjoy the Marvel films up through Avengers Endgame, but I haven't been real keen on seeing anything after that until this movie. I would recommend it to anyone that enjoyed the earlier Marvel films compared to the later ones as well as fans of the other Deadpool movies.

Red Sonja (1985) , not sure how long this will be available before it is taken down. While I enjoy this movie, Brigitte Nielsen is just not Red Sonja for me. It is a hard role to cast, you need a natural redhead that tans instead of burns, at least 5' 10", curvy and athletic and really beautiful AND for the first movie under 25 years old. You have to find someone and then hope they can act. One of maybe 6 women on the whole planet.

Maybe I'll rectify that today.

It's available as free with ads.

It's a fun, swords and sorcery adventure film that's definitely better than some of the drek that's been released over the years. I would watch it again.

I guess I am spoiled and want to see real people.
