Crimson Escalation
What if you could speed-up DnD combat while making battles more exciting, realistic, and fun? All that with a minimum of bookkeeping!
This is a pretty cool idea, and it is only a $1 or more if you choose to do a little more. I encourage you to back this, I would like to encourage this guy to go more mainstream in his content. By that I mean less vulgarity.

And you can use the idea for free if you want ( how to do that is found in the KS content), so try the idea out and if you like it support the creator.
I have an ulterior motive, if he gets to $1000, he is going add a bonus about immersion in the game and that I want to read.

The Perilous Dreamer I'm in on this! Venger has a ton of creative forces at work and we even kicked a mutual idea back and forth a few years ago. We didn't pursue it to the end but I may dust some of the ideas off for another look. I think he would have even more success if he went a lit tle more mainstream but who knows?

I think it was suggested to him that some of his products are mainstream, all he has to do is release two versions unexpurgated and expurgated. Some of his items could be used by anyone, if he would just produce a version that is kid friendly. Other stuff is adult period, but some stuff could be sold to two different audiences. * post number 56,000 for the forum.

When I checked earlier today this was approaching halfway to the $1,000 immersion extra... Just now up to $458 and 313 backers. I hope he gets there, for me it is the principle of the thing. The specific item is free, you don't have to donate a thing, but for a buck, you get a more polished pdf with same art, so why not. Then there is the $1,000 immersion extra..., I just want to see what he has to say.

I do like his writing style and I dig his enthusiasm for the hobby so I would like to hear his thoughts on immersion also.

Impressive is right; especially when you hear many people trying to be dismissive of Venger. He's had a pretty productive output and successful KS campaigns.

I am a fan of Venger and that is in spite of the fact that the imagery and vulgarity that he embraces to be "edgy" and a "rebel" means the majority of his output I would never buy. But he is inventive and has value to the community and he does do some good stuff. Part of the reason (that I am a fan), I guess is that I don't like to see people erased and he does make good points and calls out hypocrisy.

I've read through the Crimson Escalation document and I think it's great! It's got a cool aesthetic and the tracker looks cool. I dig the notes on immersion also. People could get quite a bit of mileage out of this product; it's simple to adjust it other games. If you have roll-low game then critical hits would start at a 1/20, then 2/20, etc. You could have it apply to ONLY the fighter or fighter type classes if you were playing AD&D. You could even have it apply at different rates for the different types of classes by using a different colored token for each one on the tracker. Crimson Escalation is easy to implement and use in your game. Thumbs up!

I am planning on writing about the Immersion part, probably in a blog post.
