Most of my players cannot help themselves. Definitely fully immersed in the "matrix." I was a cellular "Luddite" for the longest time, finally settled on a pay-as-you-go option for emergencies and occasional texts. Still to this day. I do not feel the slightest need to be on that tiny, portable idiot box non-stop. I do find it convenient for emergency calls/texts but that's about the limit of my desire to use the darned thing. the Wife is constantly watching useless videos on Tik Tok ugh!

I use a flip phone as my only phone, I use it to make calls, I don't text and don't have a data plan. Even a tablet has a screen way too small for someone my age to surf the internet with and with arthritis a full size keyboard for a desktop computer is enough of a challenge, let alone trying to text on any phone flip or smart.

If you drive very much, I don't see how you cannot believe in miracles, there are enough bad drivers, there is no other way to explain why the death rate is not 20 times higher. I grew up riding dirt bikes in my teens but I know one thing for certain and that is that I would NEVER get a motorcycle on the highway or the city streets. We used to jump them and practice wheelies and all kinds of stuff. None of us ever got hurt except for maybe a bruised ego or hurt pride. The open road? No way, no how. I even drove in Somalia and I have no interest in being on a motorcycle on the streets. It's the other drivers. They pay little to no attention to what they are doing. Scary. No one pays attention to any kind of bike on the road; on the other hand, too many bikers weave in and out of traffic and pop wheelies in traffic and other stuff like that.

Those bike-riding attention seekers often bring bad things onto their selves with those ridiculous stunts.

When I am out running, I don't like a muddy path, at my age the consequences of slipping and falling are too severe. Oh wait, you meant running a game. Oh well, then, um. I guess it would be guys who come to the table wearing too much perfume. It makes your eyes water and then I have to send the away.

That would be a lot more funny if mao had not fallen and broken his arm pretty badly. On the other hand the perfume thing is pretty funny. Some people just put on way too much and it is intolerable to be around.

Oh and another...players more interested in their cellphones/mobile devices than the game! Those should not even be in sight or heard during a game. Certainly a catch-22. I like the convenience of sending "secret" notes in the form of texts, quicker than jotting down a hand written note (and some of my players have atrocious command of spelling and the English language.) I may have to look into a cellphone signal jammer at some point

My pet peeve is people not being focused on the game, not being ready when it is there turn. Really good way to get uninvited.
