Spell: Skeleton Mastery Level: 6th
For each level above 11th a magic-user gains certain benefits through the use of this spell that improve his/her animated skeletons. The effects last until/or unless Dispelled by a higher level MU, or the skeletons are destroyed.
1. Skeletons created after this spell has been cast can only be harmed by blunt weapons. 2. They will sustain either 1/2 or 1/4 damage from fire/lightning spell attacks. 3. Are immune to all mind-based spells (charm, hold, sleep, suggestion, etc.)

(I was surprised--yeah, even now!--to realize that only magic-users have the Animate Dead spell in the LBBs. And its a L5 spell! But, it seemed so weak for such a high level mage to be casting, I felt something needed to be done to improve the whole concept.)

I have all skeletons and zombies impervious to range fire (as extrapolated from CM).
I also assume necromantic enchantment and, therefore, that skeletons reassemble the second round after they are defeated unless burned, crushed, or both.
That makes them a lot scarier! Especially for low lvl PCs!
