This would be a great place to speculate on what the supplement Dragon Lore & Legend might have contained.

The core rules present a custom dragon generation system that can produce very interesting results. Each dragon is supposed to be unique and created for each individual campaign. I still need to do a Dragon Record Sheet sometime. I imagine the Dragon Lore & Legend would have expanded this system with even more options. Might be a project worth pursuing...

Oooh, yes this must be done. I love the idea of creating unique dragons for each campaign, this creating an organic and vibrant dragon population unique to each referee's own world. I'd love to see the Dragon Record Sheet as well - now if I had the AiF books that were published...sigh. I could use the rules for my campaigns whether I ran AiF or OD&D or B/X.

Jeff Rients reformatted the tables from AiF and posted them Great Random Charts from RPG History, volume II saying 

I can't say that I'm a big fan of Adventures in Fantasy, the second RPG that Dave Arneson ever worked on. It's too bland for my tastes. Like the new Blackmoor d20 material all the awesome stuff like laser beams and robots has been cut out, leaving behind nothing but super-vanilla Tolkienisms and Old World folklore. The section on dragons is pretty much the only part of the game that I like. These charts (which I have reformatted but not otherwise altered) look like a super-fun way of freaking out jaded D&D players.
